Graystone Communications is owned and managed by Rob Briggs, a business communications professional with over 30 years’ experience, primarily in global financial and professional services organisations. Rob is passionate about people, communications and how companies can best manage their reputations.

Over the course of his career, Rob has developed and implemented change and internal communications strategies across multiple industry sectors and supported major transformation programmes for national, regional and global businesses.

As a Past Chairman of the Europe and Middle Region for the International Association of Business Communicators, Rob maintains an extensive network of business communication professionals on each continent.  He has worked extensively with virtual teams around the world and has been recognised as a trusted advisor and counsel to senior management at local, regional and Group Executive level. 

Rob is an experienced writer, editor and producer across most forms of media, including print, video, presentations, speeches and social media. His focus is both on consistency of message and strategic alignment to business objectives – with the aim of delivering concrete, measurable results.


He is a long standing global evaluator for the IABC Gold Quill Awards; a Fellow of the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence; a Fellow of the RSA, a charity which encourages the release of human potential; a Patron of the Royal Scottish Academy; and a member of the creative writers' organisation 26.
